Terms of Use
Last updated: September 7, 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of McCase (the "Service"), operated from mccase.in. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. What McCase is
McCase is a practice platform for consulting-style case interviews. It includes a library of case books and guesstimates ("McBooks"), a filtering tool ("McFilter"), and live peer-to-peer practice rooms with optional AI-generated feedback ("McBuddy").
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account, including your name and college affiliation where applicable. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
3. Access tiers
McCase is currently in private beta. Some features are limited to whitelisted college email domains or accounts holding a valid access code. We may change, restrict, or expand access at our discretion.
4. McBuddy practice rooms and recording
A McBuddy session is a live audio call between two users. Recording and AI-generated feedback only happen when both participants explicitly consent inside the room; a session without full consent runs as a voice-only call with nothing recorded. Where consent is given, a recording is processed to produce a feedback report for the interviewee and is not used for any other purpose.
Do not use McBuddy rooms to share content unrelated to case practice that violates law or another person's rights. Be respectful of your practice partner.
5. Case book content
Case books and materials made available through McBooks are for personal practice and educational use only. You may not redistribute, resell, or publish this content elsewhere. Some materials are contributed by the community; if you believe content infringes your rights, contact us and we will review it.
6. Acceptable use
- Do not attempt to bypass access controls, access codes, or rate limits.
- Do not upload or transmit content that is unlawful, infringing, or harmful to others.
- Do not use automated tools to scrape or bulk-download content from the Service.
- Do not misuse the contact, waitlist, or feedback forms (spam, false information).
7. AI-generated feedback
Feedback reports are generated using third-party AI models and are intended as practice guidance, not a professional or definitive assessment of interview performance. McCase does not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated feedback.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. McCase does not guarantee that using the Service will result in any particular interview or admission outcome.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, McCase and its team are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for violation of these Terms or for misuse that affects other users or the platform.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be sent to contact@mccase.in.
